Inga Liljestrom
Perhaps no other music has been so profoundly an influence on my work as that of Australian Chanteusse Inga Liljestrom. When I first heard the CD "Elk", I began an 8 month cycle of paintings directly influenced by the album. Later, her soon to be released "Quiet Music For Quiet People" was advanced to me and was the focus of many new works including 2 commissions in 2005. Inga's voice is the soundtrack for the colours artists dream in. If you have your speakers on right now you can hear for yourself....
